Expertise
I can answer most questions concerning 4X4 engine, drive line, suspension, electrical, and fuel, both diesel and gasoline. Ford, GM, and Dodge, old and new.

Experience
I have been maintaining a fleet of approximately 55 light, medium and heavy vehicles for over 20 years. Most are 4X4 pickups and off road fire fighting trucks. Some vans, wagons, sport utility, and personnel transport vehicles. Diesel and gas. Major and minor repairs due to extremely severe duty.

Oldsmobile/Buick Repair - Reset check engine Button for Oldsmobile

Expert: Van - 3/2/2008

Question
Where is the check engine reset button found on a 1996 eighty-eight oldsmobile?

Answer
Go to Autozone, have them read the codes for you, and reset it.
A scan tool is needed, and they will do it for free.
Keep the codes, so you have an idea what to work on, but keep in mind that a rich or lean oxygen sensor code, does NOT necessarily mean you need an oxygen sensor. You need to repair the problem that caused that sensor to read that.  Same goes for many of the other codes, and they will probably come back, until the cause is corrected.
