The 2000 Lesabre has a cable activated power window. Mine is currently out. I went on Internet to buy regulator and motor (one unit) Pretty much a dealer part otherwise. The cables break and then can't raise and lower window. Had other one replaced a few years back. Good luck.

Window regulator failures are very common in this car- I've had to replace all 4 of mine. The regulator comes as a complete unit- motor, cables, the works. They are expensive, $400 bucks each. Hardest part of whole job is getting the door panels off. Once off, R&R' ing the unit and reinstalling door panels is easy, these things are designed for ease of assembly, not for ease of repair.

I have been maintaining a fleet of approximately 55 light, medium and heavy vehicles for over 20 years. Most are 4X4 pickups and off road fire fighting trucks. Some medium duty trucks. Some military light trucks. I can answer most questions concerning 4X4 engine, drive line, suspension, electrical, and fuel, both diesel and gasoline. Ford, GM, and Dodge, old and new, but prefferably not newer than 99.
