Question
Dear Bob

Require the following information about this sport event.

1 What is the Pole Height where the Roman ring is attached?
2 What is the Roman ring rope length?

Do you feel by either increasing/decreasing the Pole Height or /and Roman ring rope length may have an impact on the gymnast performance?

Thanks
Prashant

Thanks
Prashant

Answer
5.75 m is the height of the horizontal from which the rings are suspended.  The rings must be 2.75 m above the floor.  they are no longer called Roman rings, but rather still rings.  Yes.  If the supporting ropes or cables were significantly longer, the response to the athlete's movements would be slower and hence alter the timing of the movements.
