Answer It is getting relatively easier to go to Oman these days. Visas can be obtained on demand upon arrival, but I suggest that you go through one of the local travel agencies or through the hotel where you plan to stay. A web search will give you many options. Many of the major hotel chains are available:

Rental cars and other tourist services are easily obtainable as well. (Make sure you have an international driver's licence.
