Question Hi Doctor,
I have breast cancer with lung metastisis. I have discussed with my oncologist a treatment I have read about using combination of cyclophosphamide and tegafur-uracil being used very effectively in treatment of this. Have you had any experience with this drug combination. Also he is willing to try it for me but he does not know where it can be obtained since it is not FDA approved in the US. It is sold in Europe. Could you please help me in locating this drug so my oncologist can acquire it. Thank you.
Gina
Answer Yes it is sold in Europe. But I can not engage myself in any drug export business (I can not do so legally here). But if your doctor contacts a well renowned pharmacy in Italy, Spain, Portugal or Greece - maybe also in France and Germany or even Britain and Ireland - (AVOID so called "internet pharmacies" you can never know if you will get the right stuff from them) I'm sure shipments can be arranged. But I do not know how the US customs will react to such shipments. Good luck!
