You are here: Experts > Health/Fitness > Medical Specialists > Oncology (General Cancer) > lump in upper left arm
Expert: Michael Dean - 11/3/2009
Question About a year and a half ago I found a lump in my arm, then forgot all about it until recently. It is still there. It does not hurt, but it has been there for a long time. Should I be worried?
Answer Dear Jonna,
I am sorry for the delay, I have been traveling.
In the absence of symptoms, you should be fine, especially if it is not growing. A doctor should look at it it, and perhaps biopsy or image it if it has not gone away.
I hope that this helps,
Michael
