hi. My husband (51 y.o, white, overweight, ex-heavy drinker) was recently taken to the ER due to other health issues and a CT scan showed he has a 3cm mass in the neck of his pancreas and atrophy of the pancreatic tail.
Tho his MRI and blood tests are normal, his CEA levels a 1.3 (hence very good) and he has no symptoms or pain, we are going to UCLA for an EU (endoscopic ultrasound) to see what that mass is all about. I suggest you see a pancreatic doctor for a second opinion.
