Oncology (General Cancer)/Tonsil

Question
Hi,
I noticed this white area on my right tonsil about two weeks ago. It's not painful at all. I am not sure how long it's been there. I do poke at that area often bc I suffer from tonsil stones that get embedded in the tonsil. After I poke at them they tend to bleed. I have an appt on August 12 th with my ENT but I am pretty worried this could be something serious like cancer. It seems to be getting a little better. Does this look like a tonsil cancer ? Should I be worried?

Answer
Unfortunately I would need to examine you myself to be able to tell you more. Pictures like these are unfortunately not enough. However the waiting time until August 12 will hardly matter regardless of the diagnosis. Good luck!
