Online Catalogue/Retailing - Dropship Companies

Expert: Jim Novo - 1/10/2009

Question
I want to start an online women's boutique with a lot of vintage clothing and accessories..(hippy style)  After much research I am having trouble finding a dropship company that offers items that I am looking for.  The only ones I find are things you would find in a Sears catalog..I want funky, unique, cute things that women would want. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Answer
If by "vintage" you mean not just the style but the item is actually old / used, I don't think you will find any dropshippers, they deal almost exclusively in new goods.

Perhaps instead of starting an online vintage store, of which there are many, you should start the very first vintage dropship business?  Then all the existing stores will sell the goods for you...
