AboutRhyn Essence Expertise I am freely able to answer any type of question in respect of expectation, emotional need, desire, living with fantasies and the cold harsh reality that frequently fails to match expectations.
Experience I formerly advised on this site until about 2002 when physical ill health forced me to withdraw from just about every interest that I had. Previous to allexperts I'd run through the emotional minefield of online relationships myself. Recognising that while a professional may take a keen interest in human motives and behaviour that there isn't a hard and fast template which can be applied to various individual sets of circumstances, regardless of what they want you to believe.
Past/Present clients Numerous enquirers using the AllExperts route. I've answered questions regarding religious differences, dealing with the difficulties of addictions and spousal abuse. Age knows no barriers in respect of online relationships and even cultural differences are swept aside, though that can lead too additional difficulties.
Question Hi there. I have a question.. A little information: I'm a 19 year old male, single currently. I've been a member of this free-dating website for a while and sometimes I get more active in it than usual. I started it because I'm tired of *all-games and immaturity* in relationships. Also, I live in a really small and boring town which makes it more difficult for me to find a girl.. I've never had any real luck on that site, and when I do talk to a girl, I don't feel any actual clicks between us.
Well yesterday; I was checking my e.mail, and the website messaged me saying that I had a new message from some girl. I logged in and read over her profile, then the message she sent me. She seemed nice enough, and she even started the first message with more than "3-10 words". *Everyone else I've heard from on that site says 3-10 words, and that's it for their message.", making it impossible to find someone I can really get to know..
Well this girl *Casey* says in her profile that she's 18, don't smoke, don't drink, and I saw that she only lives about a little over an hour away from myself. We've noticed that we even share quite a few similar interests as eachother. I responded to her message sorta lengthly, and she sent me a message back just as long as mine. I sent her another one, which I am waiting for a response from.
I was just wandering when would be an alright time to ask for a phone number I can reach her at? I don't want to rush anything for her, because we have so many similarities, and I would possibly like to hook up with and date her someday which makes me not want to mess this up..
I'd appreciate some help when you're able. Thanks."
Answer Hi Matt,
Sorry for the delay I thought that I had set my vacation dates only I hadn't.
Really the best answer is when it feels right for you and if her interest in you seems as keen. If you do leave it too long ...say 3 weeks or more then before you know it she may have met someone else.
Regards,
Rhyn
