Question
Well I have been talking to this girl over the net for about a year now, she seems great. I have had a few real life relationships, so im not a desperate guy or anything, im pretty attractive ( not to sound like a ass or anything ). im 19 and she is 21, i know shes not a spammer ( seeing as im to poor to give anyone money haha, i make 8.00 an hour. ) i wont have an online relationship, id like to meet in person first. she lives in the same state, about 3 hours away. what should be my approach? ses not very experienced with men, but she is definentaly smart, amrter than me haha. how do i act in this situation? is there any way of breaking the ice without seeming like a creep?

Answer
hi there,

dont be so down on yourself, nothing wrong to say your good looking, start to think more positively and thats the start of having people enjoy your company. nobody wants to be with some who is negative about themselves. doesnt matter if you have no money or not as smart, you make do with what you are given. if thats not good enough for others then its their loss...

ok, now to help you not sound like a 'creep', just be yourself. you have known her for a year now and developed some kind of relationship. tell her that you would like to meet her as soon as she has time and explain that it would help your relationship to meet her personally. explain it can be wherever she wants and  offer to meet her in a public place for coffee or lunch or even her family home. somewhere she will feel secure with other people around, even tell her to bring a girlfriend if she feels uncomfortable meeting you alone. give her the options so she knows your not trying to sneek her away into some dark motel room. that would be creepy...

hope this helps and good luck... you dont sound creepy to me....

take care

I love helping people and and some may say that I am a very chatting and friendly person. I can offer advice to people who are in long distance or a different cultural online relationship as I have experienced both. I know how hard it can be and how heartbreaking it can be but I also know how rewarding they can be. i live in australia so depending where you live my time frame for answering may differ but i will try to answer within 24 hours of receiving your question.

Experience

I have experience with online relationships and having friends who are in one or have had them, I know the highs and lows that can come from being in one, especially long distance. I have been online for five years and met many people from different cultures.
