Question I am in an online relationship with someone I am head over heels in love with. We live in different countries. I am pretty sure we feel the same about each other, we talk daily and often speak of our future plans together. We have exchanged pictures and have been talking somewhere around the 7 months range. He was offline for 2 months and when he came back the love we felt for each other grew and it's now very intense...I would like more than anything to meet him, and he says he does too but he is insecure about himself and the way he looks. He is afraid I won't like him. I don't consider myself a superficial person, and as much as I love him I really don't think it matters how he looks I just want him to feel more comfortable meeting me...How can I help him get over his fear? I know it will be awkward at first of course but this can't stay online forever if we truly want to be together and I'm afraid it will eventually get boring..Help!

Thank you for contacting me. One of the advantages of having an online relationship is that we can talk to other people from across the world and never get judged. Maybe he doesn't feel that you would like him due to his looks, even though you love with the heart, he may see it differently. The best advice I can give you, is be patient. Maybe tell him how you love him from the inside and not his looks.
