Online Shopping - Hotel Linens

Question
What do hotels do with their beautiful linens when they decide it's time to replace them?  I'd be interested in buying some for home use.  Or is that a bad idea?

Answer
Dear Nan,

Thank you for writing. I have visited a few lovely hotels with wonderful linens, and I can understand wanting to have wonderful linen in you home. With that said (and without going in to great detail), I would imagine that if a hotel felt that their linens were no longer appropriate to dress their beds with you would not want them.

If you are looking for high thread count, wonderfully dreamy new linens I can can help. I have personally bought 900 thread count Egyptian Cotton sheets from www.overstock.com

Their product are of solid quality, and shipping on any order is only $2.95! I have also had success on eBay.

But to tell you the truth I recently slept on the most fantastic sheets ever. My best friend recently hosted me. Her guest bedroom looks like a high priced inn. She takes hosting very seriously! I asked her where she got such soft and lovely sheets and she told me Ikea!

You can visit your local store or www.ikea.com.

Inexpensive and new! It does not get better than that.

Good luck to you.

-Linsey
