Question
Hi,
I live in Angola where I am from. I have made purchases from US stores like compuvest and also from Amazon, but unfortunately they do not want to process my credit card because it was issued in a Bank outside of the US.Compuvest used to use a third party that used to process such transations for them which is PAILY but unfortunately Paily was purchased by fraudsciences and they do not work for compuvest anymore. Do you know of any stores that sell electronics where I may buy some stuff? What I do is I buy the article from the confort of my place in Angola ( not Angola the prison in Lousiana) and send it to the US to my boss's address in the US and he brings it for me into Angola so I may save some $$ in shipping expenses. I would be more than happy if you answered this question. What online stores accept credit cards issued outside of the US without going through a lot of trouble? By the way my credit card is VISA GOLD issued in BFA in Angola.

Answer
Dear Antonio,

Thank you for writing. I would highly suggest opening a third party payment service like www.paypal.com This will allow you to used your credit card. This service will pre-approve your info so that the sites do not have to. Here is a link to the various electronics websites that accept PayPal as a method of payment.

You can go to paypal.com to set up your account with them, and then enjoy shopping without the usual hang ups.
Best of luck
