Question
Hi, are there any good schools for studying opera in the state of Florida?

Answer
Hi Giordana,

I would look at Florida State, Stetson Unversity (I went there but it was so long ago I don't really know the faculty anymore - but it's an excellent school)

I you can afford to join the classical singers website (www.classicalsinger.com) they have a listing of university music schools by region/state, etc.  All of the Florida schools are there  - you might be able to see the info without becoming a member - so try that.

You can also visit the schools' websites and talk to them as well.  All of the big state schools, FSU, Florida and Miami have big programs... Stetson is smaller and private, I think.

Try the classical singer site.

Best of luck,

Pamela
