May I add Joan Patenaude Yarnell at MSM--she's wonderful! (my teacher). It's important to go see the schools and meet with the teachers. As Joan once told me, no teacher, no matter how great, is right for everyone. I applied to many different grad schools-University of Michigan and New England Conservatory are also excellent. San Fran Conservatory is pretty nice too.
