Could you please give me some examples of aria de bravura? I want to compile some of them in one cd for my own enjoyment.

Can't recall specific names of arias because I'm more of a true spinto - but I would listen to all of the Joan Sutherland albums - she has some amazing bravura arias - one, as I recall, from Adrianna Lecouverer, I think and Norma (Bellini). Also Marilyn Horne does some real bravura - check our her albums... Oh - and the aria from Attitla that the soprano sings at the beginning - that's amazing... and Lady Macbeth's first aria is great, too.
