hI BY NOW YOU PROBABLY ALREADY PURCHASED YOUR GLASSES..BUT ANYWAY...EMI IS AN ANTI RADIATION COATING..ELECRTO MAGNETIC INTERFERE. MOSTLY USED FOR OFFICE WORKING INVIROMENTS. REGARDING UV NOT ALL LENSES HAVE UV PROTECTION BUT IF ORDERED WITH AR OR HC THE UV COMES AS STANDARD,AND EMI IS NOT AR!! IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING RIMLESS ALWAYS GO FOR TRIVEX OR POLY AS ITS MUCH MORE IMPACT RESISTANT AND YOULL SAVE MONEY IN THE LONG RUN.

EMI- Electro Magnetic Interference. Anti EMI coating is designed to reduce radation from Computer screens and other source of EMI. Also acts like an Anti-Static Coating as well. Many imported lenses with antireflection coating have this feature.

Electro Magnetic Interference (EMI)

EMI coating helps protect your eyes from the radiation off computer and television screens. This will reduce eye fatigue, especially if you work extensively with a computer.
