Question what is the difference between phthisis bulbi and atrophic bulbi?
Answer atrophia bulbi
a shrunken end-stage eye that contains recognizable ocular structures.
phthisis bulbi
shrinkage of the eyeball.
essentially the difference is that the structure of the eye ball is maintained in atrophic bulbi.... whereas in phthisis bulbi
there are no discernable ocular structures.
