hi,
  sir, i got permanently red eyes from 8 month ago.and am too scared about it.i did meet with many doctor they given me drops as (andry,tears natural,so more)and when i get drop into my and that time i see my eyes looks like white and after 1hour my eyes again slowly-slowly become red.and i sleep too and avoid dust i dont know what heppen in my eyes 8 month ago i was totly fine . i think i got red eyes by allergie or infection,yes i work on computer 5hours a day.plz help me and give me suggetion.

Dear Sunil,

There could be various reasons for red eyes like allergies, infection, high eye pressure, etc.

However, only an eye doctor can guide you regarding its cause after your eye examination.

If it is because of dry eyes, then the drops that you are using helps, esp when on the PC.

Otherwise the issue will keep recurring, unless cause is treated.

When in front of the PC please follow instructions as put up under computer vision syndrome on www.shroffeye.org which will give you tips to avoid eye strain.

Inspite of above if still red, then only an eye check can be done..if in Mumbai, please write or call us on the details sent below.
