Question
Since having IOL surgery in my left eye I am experiencing a visual disturbance I can only liken to mild tremors as you would see with strobe lighting to the left of my peripheral vision in that eye. Can you explain this?

Answer
Dear Julie,

This may or may not be related to the surgery itself. However, visual symptoms are common during the first few weeks (upto 3 months).

Your retina may need to be examined on your next follow up and also the eye pressure.

But if this is really bothering your daily work, meet the optometrist specifically regarding this.

Hope this helps,
Best,
Dr Shroff
