Ophthalmology & Optometry/Convert My Perscription Please
I've been wearing glasses/contacts since i was in kindergarten i am now 25. I just had my yearly visit and my eye doctor said i developed an astigmatism in both eyes so she switched me to toric lenses which i have already recieved. I see good and they are comfortable. However, i want some colored contacts/theatrical contacts because im in many plays/theater. Before this was not a problem because i had regular contact lenses which are available in color but now i need toric lenses which are not available in color strong enough for me. So im asking if you can convert my toric prescription to a regular spherical prescription. Please help!

Old spherical colored contacts perscription:
Spherical lenses may not give you that clarity and comfort of vision as you get with toric lenses. But as mentioned, you want colored prescription contact lenses for occasional use, only for theater.
You may take just spherical -7.00 for right eye and -6.50 for left eye because it is already much higher then your earlier prescription. Though spherical equivalent of your current prescription would be -0.50 more then mentioned above but then it might give you eye strain.
