Ophthalmology & Optometry/Contact lenses

I recently switched from glasses to contacts. My vision is kind of "fuzzy" and at times out of focus.  My Rx on the box says -1.0, 8.8.  I currently use the Acuvue Oasys with hydraclear plus. I can also really feel the lenses.  I am using my re-wetting drops a lot just so they feel comfortable.  Do I need to try a different brand of contacts or is my Rx incorrect and should be stronger?

Usually it takes 1-2 weeks to adapt to
New lenses  but Acuvue Oasys with Hydroclear should be comfortable within days , if not you need to be refit with a different
Brand design  especially if you have marginally dry eyes.  Ask your eye doctor about your options.  Good luck.  Dr Berger
