Oracle/Oracle HRMS for Education Domain.
1. Do you recommend Oracle HRMS Software as part of Oracle E-Business Suite for Clients who are into imparting Education and Training services ?.
Examples : Colleges, Classes where different subjects are taught
to students enrolling in the college and classes.
Example : Private Educational Group/trust where both Colleges and classes are offered.
The end users of this HRMS System are HR staff, Management/Trust of the Educational Group.
2. Can only HRMS Module be purchased within E-Business Suite ?.
i.e. Other Modules of the E-Business suite may or maybe not required to be purchased.

1. Education and Training services may be better served may be better to use the PeopleSoft Campus Solution (for higher education) rather than using the HCM/HRMS modules. This is because the HCM/HRMS is primarily used for human resource mananagement, not for the tracking of students and their progress through the training stream.
The PeopleSoft Campus Solution (http://www.oracle.com/us/products/applications/peoplesoft-enterprise/campus-solu
) is best suited with optional modules such as for recruitment (to the school), financial aid and alumni management.
2. For the HRMS (now referred to as Human Capital Management or HCM) module, there are several choices that can be purchased based on your business' needs: http://www.oracle.com/us/products/applications/human-capital-management/overview
PeopleSoft HCM (was acquired by Oracle) is one of the dominant solution in HR for the last 10+ years. Recently Oracle began moving and integrating PeopleSoft HCM with its eBusiness Suite solution. Both these solutions are best for medium and large enterprises. JD Edwards (previously acquired by PeopleSoft) is best suited for the small-medium sized business.
