iam not understanding the SQL,because iam confusing about below concepts
-Server
SQL language
SQL Server
sql express
sql management studio
instance
please help me

Answer
Hello Santhosh,

SQL is basically a structured query language used to perform database operations like view, add, delete, edit data.
SQL Server is a database management system (software) just like Oracle (except some features are different)
SQL express is similar to SQL server (software), except it has limited features and used for small scale applications.
SQL management studio is a tool.
Database is a collection of physical operating system files and disks, whereas Instance is a set of background processes, memory etc (1 instance mounts and opens maximum 1 database, but 1 database can be opened by many instances).

Hope this helps.
