Subject: 3 teeth pulled can feel part of tooth still there
Question On Thursday I had 3 teeth extracted I noticed on Friday that i could feel part of 2 of the teeth still there I have allot of pain in my jaw and its swollen will This moring (SAT) the side of my face is swollen more I have been takeing advil every four hours but it does not help my denisit is out of town I cant get ahold of any denist to do anythink duing the weekend Whats wrong is this normal or was the denisit just not paying attion???
Answer April - It is definitely not correct to have pieces of the tooth that was supposed to be removed still in your mouth. You need to call the dentist tomorrow. If he is unable to help you, you need to ask him to refer you to an oral and maxillofacial surgeon for an evaluation.
