Oral Surgery/large mandibular tori

I have been advised to have my bilateral mandibular tori surgically removed. They are quite large and have grown to the level of my teeth. They have affected my speech a little and I cant eat some foods due to pain or food entrapment. I am 70, otherwise in very good health. My teeth are healthy too. I want to know if the possible complications are worth the risk. Thank you for helping.

Hello Patricia

Yes they are definitely worth the very limited risk! If this is done by an experienced Oral Surgeon, then it is a flawless simple operation and should give you great comfort .
I would go for it without even thinking about it.

Best Regards
