Question
I had all four of my wisdom teeth pulled at the same time.  After the surgery the doctor statement said my jaw was fractured during the procedure. Also when I look in the mirror I can see one side of my jaw kind of out of alignment.     What are some possible long term effects from this?

Answer
Hello,

I hope that you have already taken care of this problem. If your jaw is fractured, you need to be seen immediately and take care of it. You can have an operation or closed reduction where your teeth are shut for 6 weeks. If you do not seek treatment, infection, malocclusion, asymmetry could happen.
