Question
Hello, I had maxillofacial surgery on both jaws 2 months ago. The surgery was to correct an open bite and receding lower jaw. Now, my jaws go right on top of each other instead if the upper jaw being a bit in front of the lower. Is that normal? Also my lips are now thin lines instead of normal.

Answer
I am not sure what particular survey you have had completed.  But that does not seem normal by your description.  Your best bet would be to bring all of your records and study models to a board certified oral and Maxillofacial surgeon in your area for a second opinion
