Oral Surgery/Jaw problem

Dear Sir,
I have a problem that seems to get worse from time to time. Few years ago, my dentist extracted my tooth and she told me that that side of face will change a bit. And it did, it looked like I've got no muscle on that side where my tooth was extracted. Like it shinked somehow. After that, other dentist told me that she pulled out a little part of my jaw with the tooth, and that it is, probably, the reason for that. Also, I've got no teeth on the right side of the lower jaw (wisdom tooth, etc). But, few days ago I had headache and after that I saw that also temples on the right side look like there is no bone or muscle, not much but it is visible. And all right side of my face now is somehow shrinked. If it is important, at the same tooth extraction my jaw locked, and after a minute or two I somehow "unlocked" it. But, from that time i hear clenching on my right side of a jaw. And when i put fingers on both jaw ends, it seems like right side of a jaw is not "opening" as it should be. I would be very grateful for any diagnose. Thank you in advance!

It sounds like you have some TMJ problems with probably disk displacement. Wheter or not this is in relation with your muscle atrophy remains to be ascertained by an oral surgeon after a thorough evaluation and an MRI of the TMJ's. Sometimes when you are missing teeth in the back, this may worsen your dental and joint function:
