Organizing Your Home & Workspace - Filing with hanging folder

Expert: Jan Hayner - 1/15/2008

Question
I have a simple question regarding filing: Do you  normally use a fastener to bind the paper when filing paper in manila folder or hanging folder or kept them loose?

Answer
Hi Kai;
I usually keep them loose, it is easier for retrieval. If it is a folder that has a lot of papers in them, I may subdivide the papers into two folders, or put them in an expandable folder to make it easier.
I hope this helps give you an idea!
Happy Organizing,
Jan Hayner
