Question Would you kindly help me with how I can go about storing my old antique books safely and security?
I have recently started running a second hand book dealing business and am seeking advice on how I can prevent mould and mildew growing on my books please.
I currently store my books in my cold garage in Scotland. The books are placed in cardboard boxes with plastic garbage bags over them. The boxes are raised from the concrete floor.
I was thinking about using silica gel to prevent moisture but I don't know if this would help at all???
Any help you can provide me would be very much appreciated.
