Organizing Your Home & Workspace - oraganizing home files

Expert: jack - 9/4/2006

Question
Where should I file past records such as  accident reports, credit reports, and correspondenc and info regarding a problem with a purchase. I feel like I need some kind of file for ancient household history, but it's kind of a mish-mash of topics.

Thank you,
sue

Answer
Sue,

I keep stuff like this in an "archive" box that I keep in a closet I don't use that often. The mish mash is ok - there's not that much in the archive box that it would take me too long to find if I  needed it. Of course,

I do not put it there until the interactions regarding the issue are complete. Until then it stays in a current file on my desk.

Hope this helps.  Jackrap1@aol.com
