AboutSheva Expertise I can answer any questions about orthodox Judaism, especially the laws that relate to women. No question too big or small, and never be embarrassed to ask - it's the only way you'll find out!
Experience I am an orthodox Jewish woman, but I have had my questions, and always seek answers, so I have a lot of experience in all areas. If I don't know the answer, I'll ask someone who does.
Question This may be a little low brow given your usual questions, but I am looking for help in choosing an appropriate gift to send to a friend/colleague, an Orthodox Jew living in Tel Aviv. I live in the US so the gift would need to be able to be shipped to TelAviv. I would like the gift to be appropriate for expressing appreciation and gratitude--she very graciously gave her time and mental effort to a project on my behalf. Thank you!
Answer Dear Janiece,
Thank you for your question.
I'm not sure what your budget is for this present, but this website has some really nice things: www.judaica.com, click on artwork, and then click on either 'aishes chayil' (the first choice) or 'blessings for the home' (6th choice). They explain what they are, and they're pretty...
You can also look at other Judaica websites like www.tuvias.com or www.judaicaspecialties.com.
