Question
Shalom Rabbi, do Jews believe in heaven and if so, who goes?  Do Jews belive in hell and if so, who goes?  Thank you for answering, Marc

Answer
Hi Marc,
Yes we believe in Heaven and Hell. Completely righteous individuals go to Heaven straight away. Others will go to Hell first for a "cleaning up" and then enter Heaven. Eternal Hell is only for completely wicked people. Jews believe that any righteous individual can enter Heaven.
All the best,
Rabbi Yechezkel Fox
