Orthodox Judaism - Jewish People

Expert: Rav Ovadiah - 11/22/2006

Question
I have been assossciated with Jewish people at many levels over a number of years, and my experiences have been very positive. Why have they been persecuted around the world? Thanks, Bob.

Answer
Bob,
I appreciate your question and support. There are numerous opinions concerning your question. I believe that the Jewish People are a constant reminder to an often godless world of G-d's existence. Persecute and wipe us out and they feel like they're doing the same to G-d. Good news! G-d exists and we will survive as His people and His lighthouse. Baruch HaShem! Rav
