Hi Mojtaba,

The Subject here is a sentence from the book I am reading
(جرأت کردم او را پدر بخوانم" - بلقیس شیخ").

Please could you translate it for me.

Also, please could you clear up these points:

1 What exactly does به خوبی mean?

2 چه کسی means “what person”, doesn't it? So does that mean that او (this refers to a servant girl, Raysham) knows which person carried out the murder, or only which person brought it about, possibly inadvertently?

3 How old is a دخترک? Could you give a rough age range?

PS With regard to the last answer, you write:
به شوخی کاری کردن means do something in a way you mentioned and exampled.
But of course you do mean that به شوخی کاری کردن means “to do something as a joke”, don't you?

Hi Simon,

the subject is an incomplete sentence. It requires an ending. What I see is:
مسلما او نیز به خوبی میدانست که چه کسی دختر...
Certainly he/she was aware of who/whom the girl...

Please give me the complete sentence. And please never type important data of your question in the 'subject' part as it may be lost like now.

1. به خوبی exactly means 'well' if it is used as an adverb.
e.g. من به خوبی درس میخوانم. I study well.

2. چه کسی is the same as 'who'. And I think you are talking about the rest of the sentence - I don't have it.

3. دخترک mostly is said to a girl between 3 or 4 to 8 or 9; However, sometimes it is used for adults - to magnify their honesty.

Yes, I mean that به شوخی کاری کردن means to do something as a joke.
