AboutBehzad Expertise I can answer questions about the usage and meaning of Persian words, proverbs, and idioms asked in Persian or English. Controversial grammatical issues are beyond my knowledge. In addition, I cannot corroborate my answer to a question about newly coined slang words.
PLEASE do not ask me to translate more than 1 or 2 sentences.
Experience Persian language is my mother tongue; however, my knowledge is remarkably more than a mere native speaker.
Question please translate these sentences and expressions into english.
1.shoma dost darid man az nazare eghtesadi shoma ra ta che sathi tamin konam?
2.ey val.
3.damet garm.
4.in dige az koja peydash shod?

Answer Hello,
It always concerns me that I fail to make myself understood when I am asked to translate something from Persian to English since I learned English as a foreign language.
1. Translation: To what economical level do you like me to support you? (Word-for-word translation: To what level do you like me to support you from the economical point of view?)
2. It is a slang which is used like “good job!”. It is also used when one wants to express his satisfaction with an unlikely or a desirable situation.
3. It is a slang used to thank somebody or to say they have done a good job.
4. This sentence is used when something or someone undesirable unexpectedly appears. Literally it means “from where did it [come] and appear?”
