Please, what is the derivation of the “bezan” part of بادبزن (fan)? Is it from zadan or is there a verb bezadan? Could it be connected with the phenomenon you recently mentioned with regard to the word “bebord” in the poem?
By the way, is بادزن pronounced “ba:dbezan" - am I right? Do you have other words for “fan” in common use? Can the word also mean “spectrum” as in “political spectrum” as is the case with yelpaze, the Turkish word for “fan”?

I think but am not sure that it is derived from بیختن or بیزیدن because ba:dbezan has originally been بادبیزن (ba:dbi:zan) and the second meaning of بیختن or بیزیدن is to shake or move. In other words, I think ba:dbezan is air or wind + shaker. It, accordingly, should not be the same phenomenon I explained in my previous answer. Still I am not completely sure since the word بادزن is also used in Persian which is apparently derived from zadan.
Most common words:
1- Ba:d bezan (بادبزن) = "a thing that you hold in your hand and wave to create a current of cool air" (definition from oxford advanced learner's dictionary- 7th edition)
In formal writing, the word ba:dzan is used; nevertheless, I am not sure if it is better than ba:dbezan. There are some occasions in Persian that the word people naturally use in informal conversations is correct but the formal version is incorrect.
2- Panke (پنکه) = an electric fan used to move the air in a room as a kind of air conditioning
3- Fan (فن) = in technical language the English word fan is also used in Persian.
