Question How would you translate the phrase "I am as I am"?
Also, how would you write it and pronounce it?
Thank you
Answer Hi, Natasha
There are some ways to say “I am as I am”:
“من خودم هستم” or “من خودمم”.
This is certainly understandable but if you want to get more specific, you can say:
“من همانگونه ام که هستم” or “من همانطوری هستم که هستم”.
Pronunciations:
“man khodam* hastam”
“man khodamam”
“man hamăn gune am ke hastam”
“man hamăn tori hastam ke hastam”
* “kh” in “khodam” is similar to the pronunciation of “j” in “mujer” in Spanish (Spain) or “ch” in “münchen” in German.
