Question
hey, Its me and my brother agianst each other, he plays random and i do protoss, when he gets protoss tho he masses goons and a few dts but i can't kill it with 2 reavers, 1hotk of dts and 2 high temps...help please

Answer
Hi koro,

Your brother did well to go mass dragoon and DTs to hit you when you have no observers.

Protoss vs Protoss games are about dragoons, and revears in shuttles. Keeping your revears from harm, and supporting your own dragoons with them. Use shuttles (with upgraded speed) to keep the revears away from harm. Meanwhile with the robotics already up, get up an observer or 2. Especially if you scout your brother's base and you see templar archieves.

I will advice against using dark templars as they are pretty costly and die easily once observers are in the field.

Try this rough build order.

8 probes
Pylon
Continue building probes non stop
(scout your enemy's base with a probe)
assimilator once 100 minerals
gateway once 150 minerals
2nd pylon
send 3 probes into assimilator once it's up
Build cybernatics core once 200 minerals.
(If you're afraid of a rush, build 1 zealot, and forge for 2 photon cannons, if not skip that and go to dragoon straight)

Once cybernatic core is up. You have 2 choice

(1) Go for a rush....
(2) Go for robotics

For rush, build your 2nd gateway while cybernatics core is building. And more pylons. Pump dragoons out of the 2 gateways nonstop, and rush your enemy with them. Upgrade the range of your dragoon's attack at the cybernatics the moment you have enough gas (without stopping to pump dragoons), or once you see you have an advantage

For robotics, Keep to 1 gateway, build a robotics and revear asap. Build dragoons with extra minerals and gas, but not slowing down your teching up to revears. Get up 1 shuttle with 1 revear, and try to harress your enemy's probes with them. If there are too many dragoons, retreat back to base 1st. Push in with dragoons and revears. Build up your 2nd gateway asap, and build an expansion. Build more gateways and amass tons of dragoons. Remember to build forges to upgrade your dragoon's attack.

Hope this helps.
