Question
QUESTION: Hey denny its koro agian. So i usually play protoss right.. but now i want something different just for that added spice. I want to learn how to play zerg :).

I've read a few things on here but haven't got much out of them...So like build order and what to do agiant toss or terran.

also I won 2 PvPvT agianst my brother and friend!

thank you soooo much!

ANSWER: Hi Koro,

regard to your previous question...and a few general enquiries. All these depends on how your opponent plays. But here's something for you to start with, and exploit their weakness and strength...

(1)Protoss versus Terran
Protoss can exploit Terran's weakness which is lack of detection of cloaked units.
Tech straight to dark templar and rush your opponent with them. My preferance is to simultaneously go for a robotics with the spare 200 gas, instead of mass darktemplars, and build a shuttle to drop the dark templars into the enemy base, bypassing his defences at the bottleneck. Terran own toss with mech. Revear + DTs can win the game quick with good micro.

Traditional way of playing is to go dragoons against terran. Then switch to upgraded speed zealots when terran has too many tanks. However i prefer more micro to macro. Try both out yourself.

--------------------------------------
Now on to your new question...

For Zerg vs Toss:
Toss ownz zerg generally, up till the defiler comes into the field. Basically it depends on what the toss throws at you. Scout often and try these counters...

Against mass goons,
use zerglings + mutalisks. Upgrade to hive and get zergling speed attack when you can.

against archons + goons,
use zerglings + defiler to dark swarm, rush in zerglings to rape them.

against revears,
use scourges to patrol against shuttle and mutalisks. If you don't have mutalisks, use hydralisks to deter them, while you rush out a spire for scourges.

--------------------

For Zerg Vs terran,
Zerg tend to own terran. Lurkers own, so use them as much as you can. If you have problem with tanks and comsat scouting your lurkers, zerglings will make short work of them. If they have marines guarding the tanks... Burrow your lurkers, somewhere they will pass by. PRESS "STOP" to prevent lurkers will attacking as they come. Start attacking once they get on top of lurkers. All the marines and tanks should be raped... This will work well till science vessels get unto the field. You can scourge the vessels easily. Or get defilers to dark swarm and rush in with your upgraded attack speed zerglings to finish off the marines and tanks.

Cheers

QUESTION: Hi agian...so this just just a clear up...and a q...
so like if im zerg agianst terran, and they mech should i use adreanalings with difilers? and what about vulture harrass defesnse, and early game rush and harrass with zerg.

Answer
Hi Koro,

Try this for a start. It's pretty fun.

Mass zergling rush build order. (Swarm him out)

- Scout evenmy base with first overlord
- Build 9/9 drones.
- Once enough minerals, build a spawning pool immediately.
- Build drone (9/9)
- Build overlord once 100 minerals
- Wait for spawning pool to finish, and save minerals.
- Once spawning pool finishes, build 6 zerglings (using the 3 larvaes available) Rush your enemy base using the 6 zerlings. You should have scouted him by now, if not scout him using the 6 zerlings seperately each.
- Continue building zerglings with every available larvae.
- Build overlord once you're reaching full control (no food)
- Build 2nd hatchery once you hit 300 minerals (with an available drone)
- Build 3rd hatchery once you hit another 300 minerals

**Concept is to mass zerglings with any available larvae not a single drone, and have up to 3 hatceries producing zerglings. The zerglings will crazily overpower your enemy.

This works on 2v2 or 3v3 as well, but not as effective for FFA games.
