Experience Played since Starcraft Original. Seasoned player. Seen all sorts of tactics played and counters. I've played with people at the top level and also entered different competitions, winning prizes as well. My speciality is more in the 1vs1 area, though I've participated in 2v2 and also 3v3 competitions before. I have also officiated the 1st World Cyber Games Competition (Singapore) in 2001.
Question Ok i have played both starcraft for many years beaten the lvls but when it comes to skirmishes i loose 95% of the time i try to DEFEND and then push back with a assualt force that can drive them back to ther base but everytime i do that ther already having another force set so im always defending not having enough time to build units to attack them but just to defend what should i do to change my tatics that will work

Are you talking about 1v1 computer?
If you are, try the following
Build tower defences (photon canons/bunkers/sunken colonies) at a choke point to your base, and have buildings block them from the enemy in front.
After getting a few defence towers, tech up the tree and go for big units like battle cruisers/carriers..etc. Then swarm your carriers into the enemy base to wipe him out.
It helps to start with maps like Big Game hunters which comes with a choke entrance and also more resources. ^^
