Question hi, my name is Kevin and i will face my friend who is an experience toss player next week and i would like to know some strategies that covers the sorts of units/buildings i should produce in order, time management, how to secure an expansion properly, and toss vulnerabilities and stuff like that... thx
Answer Hi kevin,
It really depends what map you are playing. If you are playing protoss on hunters or lost temple, you may attempt to start by
building your 1st pylon in front of your expansion (the one outside your main base).
Build a forge and gateway there.
Build 2x photon cannons and 1x zealot.
Build expansion nexus.
Continue building zealots with spare cash
When expansion is done, send about 4-5 probes from main base over.
Continue building probes on both nexus.
Upgrade your tech.
Go for dragoons/revear drops/air as you see fit.
Against toss try these...
Toss vs toss... go for dragoons (it is a dragoon war)... with others like revears...templars as support.
Zerg vs toss... mutalisks and zergling owns goons
Terran vs toss... tanks own goons, goliaths own air, vultures own zealots.
Basically terran is really the best race against toss. Just go heavy machinery.. meaning build more factorys and amass tanks/goliaths and some vultures.
It's hard to just tell you everything. Be more precise in your future questions and i might be able to zero in on helping you better.
