Question
Is it better to protect from a zergling rush in a limited map such as astral balance against a human by building a pylon then forge then some photon cannons then zealots or is exactly the opposite. Would this also apply to a money map?

Answer
Dear Yao,

I am presuming you are talking about the 6 zergling rush right?
I will prefer to go 1 pylon, gateway, 2nd gateway (or forge).

build the 1st zealot as soon as possible. Using this 1 zealot, and also probes if necessary, you should be able to fend off the early 6 zergling rush.

The 2 gateway build is good for counter rushes and 1v1.

The 1 gateway/1 forge method is good in team games if you expect to be rushed. getting up about 1-2 cannons is good. After that go for zealots. Canons are stationary, but zealots are mobile. You need mobile units to ascertain map control.

Yours,
Denny
