Answer Blizzard's original death knight concept was that of an undead spellcaster unit which made its initial appearance in Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness. This death knight could be more accurately described as a horseback-mounted lich rather than the traditional death knight commonly depicted in other fantasy games. Years later, Blizzard introduced a new death knight hero-class unit in Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos, and this second rendition was revised to reflect the general characteristics of the more traditional death knight design. The death knight was later adapted as a prestige class within the Warcraft RPG and they were former paladin warriors. It is the first hero class in World of Warcraft and was introduced in the World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King expansion.
Death knights are a pain. They own just about every class due to their spell interruptions which last for 3 seconds and ability to slow anything (apart from bosses in raids and heroics), by cutting their speed dramatically for about 6 seconds, due to this they can then kite classes by using their aoe attack and slowing them, then interrupting them then using death grip to drag mages back into the aoe. Its crazy, nerf!! AND AND AND they get a pet every 5 mins, unless you are unholy spec then u can have a pet all the time, sounds cool? No. Stop rolling Deathknights and roll a real class, and still more wow gold(Ugamegold). It just makes you look like a noob.
