Experience Played since Starcraft Original. Seasoned player. Seen all sorts of tactics played and counters. I've played with people at the top level and also entered different competitions, winning prizes as well. My speciality is more in the 1vs1 area, though I've participated in 2v2 and also 3v3 competitions before. I have also officiated the 1st World Cyber Games Competition (Singapore) in 2001.
Question Hi, I recently started playing SC, and I loooove playing protoss but I'm not that good at the game at all really and was hoping you could give me some general tips as to protoss strategies?
Usually I do
6 probes - mine
7th probe - Pylon then mine
8th - mine
9th - gateway then mine
then start building zealots and attack with 3. But this only works some of the time and I would definitely like to have some other strategies to try (I usually do myself vs 1 random comp.)
Answer You might want to look at some of the previous questions asked. Many build order description and very much in detail. The last few questions especially dealt with protoss builds and strategies, even against 7 other computers.
