Experience Played since Starcraft Original. Seasoned player. Seen all sorts of tactics played and counters. I've played with people at the top level and also entered different competitions, winning prizes as well. My speciality is more in the 1vs1 area, though I've participated in 2v2 and also 3v3 competitions before. I have also officiated the 1st World Cyber Games Competition (Singapore) in 2001.
Question i got the general setup for pvt now but what do i do when the terran go fast tech blocks ramp and drops your expansion on the cliff? whats a good way to stop this?

Usually they'll go pure machinery and tank drop you or soemthing.
Dark templar rush is a good strategy.
Some people will go dragoons to destroy the block, but the tanks will come out in time to drive your dragoons off.
I prefer to go straight for 4 dark templars.
Then build a robotics to get a shuttle to drop the templars behind, should the terran build a turret at the ramp. Dropping inside usually mean GG. If he has turrets everywhere, use templars as mobile units and expand base.
If he tank drops your expansion, Dark templar drop the tanks. Scan won't work as templars are melee. If he has a tank and 4 marines. 2 dark templars will kill all 4 marines in 2 slashes.
After this i might go revear for support, or build up my dragoon/zealot army, depending on what i see the enemy have. An observer will be good to scout since he blocked his ramp. =D Just don't let him expand and you'll have won the game.
