Question
now he uses his arbiter to recall his carriers back when i try to attack him then once i chase him his ground units come in and i still kill them but i lose about 10 dragoons then he comes back with his carriers with more intercepters and shields and kills me

Answer
well.. If he can have tons of arbitars, and carriers and ground units, while all you have are a few dragoons, then it's obvious why you lose.

You can't compare when he has units 5x your mineral cost. We are talking about fighting cost to cost, and ways to counter to give you an advantage.

Capacitate on the early game. Rush him with zealots and dragoons, before he even gets his first carrier out.

If at all you have even resources to match the end game. This is the following counter against carrier and arbiter.

Get high templars and PSI STORM the hell out of his carriers.
If you expect just simply too many of them. Build 2 arbitars of your own.
Statis field half of his carriers, finish off the un-fielded ones.
Then use your 2nd arbitar to statis field another half. Thin out his army. Take out half of them at a time, with your FULL army.

Once again i'm talking about him not having TREMENDOUS advantage over you. If he can have 24 carriers while you have 24 dragoons. The game has already been long over. You have to watch your early/mid game to make sure you have an advantage...or if not at least even odds. If that's the case, our problem will be to look at a good opening strategy, and mid game, instead of end game strategy here.

All the best

Yours,
Denny
