Subject: AP53 Bios Update

Question
Hi, Im triying to rise from the ashes a AP53 Motherboard with a 120 mhz Intel pentium processor, but i have a 40 GB MAXTOR HDD to use with it, and the BIOS setup does not recognize that HDD, im looking for a BIOS update but i havent find one...

Ill apreciate your help..

greetings...jose san pedro

Answer
If you want to update the BIOS and the manufacture doesn't have it on thier web site you could contact thier support and see if they have is in an archive.

Or you could search the internet by using the computer make/model and bios revision you are looking for.

Consider this:
Your hard drive is to new for your computer's built in drive table. A way around this is to install a newer IDE controler/interface card, this will by pass the BIOS drive table.
